BSE Derivatives registers turnover of Rs 6442 Cr with launch of weekly S&P BSE Sensex 50 Contracts with Monday expiry

 

Mumbai, July 8, 2020: BSE, India’s premier exchange and the world’s fastest Stock Exchange with a speed of 6 microseconds, had launched Weekly contracts on S&P Sensex 50 index with Monday Expiry from June 29, 2020 for which it has received an encouraging response from stakeholders and its equity derivatives segment witnessed turnover of Rs 6442 Crores on July 08, 2020.

 

Mr. Sameer Patil, Chief Business Officer of BSE said, "With the launch of weekly Sensex 50 contracts with Monday Expiry coupled with benefits of Interoperability framework, we look forward to gaining wider participation and adding new vibrancy to our equity derivatives platform.”
