BSE registers record turnover of 10410 Metric Tonnes on Day 1 trading of Guarseed

Mumbai, February 8, 2019: BSE, Asia’s oldest exchange and now world’s fastest exchange with the speed of 6 microseconds, made a stellar debut in agri commodities with the launch of trading in Guar complex. It witnessed a record turnover of INR 43.67 crore in Guarseed  futures contract on the 1st day of trading with a market share of 17 percent on February 7, 2019.

 

The Guarseed futures contract clocked a traded volume of 10410 metric tonnes with an open interest (OI) of 2240 metric tonnes. The trading and delivery lot of Guarseed is 10 MT and of Guar Gum is 5 MT.
