BSE BOND online platforms crosses 1.5 lakh crore mark

 

 

Mumbai, February 13, 2017: BSE, Asia’s oldest exchange and now world’s fastest stock exchange with the speed of 6 microseconds, on 1st July 2016 had launched the platform for Electronic Book Mechanism “BSE BOND” for issuance of debt securities on private placement basis.

 

BSE platforms for bond issuances crossed the 1.5 lakh crore mark of funding raising through debt securities by corporates in India. Today on February 13, 2017, Power Finance Corporation Limited successfully raised Rs 2551 crore by issuing bonds on private placement basis using BSE BOND platform. 

 

BSE platforms for bond issuances have been a preferred choice for companies to raise Debt Capital in India. In this Financial Year 2016-17, till February 13, 2017, 53 Issuers have done 294 issues of bonds and have successfully raised Rs. 151865 crore using BSE Debt platforms. Some of the esteemed issuers include PFC, RECL, NHAI, IRFC, HDFC, Axis Bank, NTPC, HUDCO, NABARD, Yes Bank etc. During the same period, some of the Indian issuers raised Rs 10,482 crore through masala bonds (Source: Bloomberg)

Otherwise it amount same issuers whose names referred have raised money through Masala Bonds

Market participants find the system to be user friendly, easily accessible, robust and transparent.
