Sub: Order under sections 11(1), 11(4) and 11B of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 and Regulation 11 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Prohibition Of Insider Trading) Regulations, 1992 read with Regulation 12 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Prohibition Of Insider Trading) Regulations, 2015 regarding Insider Trading in the scrip of Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd. in respect of Shri Hariharan Vaidyalingam
SEBI, vide its Order no. WTM/MPB/EFD-DRA-3/33/2018 dated August 29, 2018 has restrained Shri Hariharan Vaidyalingam (PAN No. AABPV4103E) from accessing the securities market and further prohibited him from buying, selling or otherwise dealing in securities, either directly or indirectly, or being associated with the securities market in any manner whatsoever for a period of seven (7) years from the date of this order.
This Order shall come into force w.e.f. August 29, 2018.
A copy of the said Order is attached herewith and also available on the SEBI website www.sebi.gov.in.
Trading members are advised to take note of the same and ensure compliance.
