Sub: Order in the matter of Satyam Computer Services Ltd.
Attention of the trading members is invited to the Exchange Notice No. 20150910-12 dated September 10, 2015 wherein SEBI vide its order no. WTM/RKA/EFD-SRO/108-117/2015 dated September 10, 2015 had, inter-alia, restrained various entities from accessing the securities market and further prohibited them from buying, selling or otherwise dealing in securities, directly or indirectly or being associated with the securities market in any manner, whatsoever, for a period of 07 years.
Pursuant to the order of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India dated May 14, 2018 in the matter of Satyam Computer Services Ltd. wherein appeals filed by Late Mr. Anjiraju Chintalapati, Ms. B. Appalanarasamma, Mr. B. Rama Raju (Jr.), Mr. B. Teja Raju, Chintalapati Holdings Pvt. Ltd. and Mr. Chintalapati Srinivasa Raju against SAT Order dated 11/08/2017 were allowed, SEBI vide its email dated June 21, 2018 has informed that the period of restraint imposed on the following entities stands vacated:
1. Mr. Anjiraju Chintalapati
2. Ms. B. Appalanarasamma
3. Ms. B. Jhansi Rani (PAN- AGSPB2233J)
4. Mr. B. Rama Raju Jr.
5. Mr. B. Teja Raju (PAN- AFSPB9531Q)
6. Chintalapati Holdings Pvt. Ltd. (PAN- AABCC5085D)
7. Mr. Chintalapati Srinivasa Raju (PAN- ACPPC2768Q)
This Order shall come into force with immediate effect.
A copy of the said Order is attached herewith and also available on the SEBI website www.sebi.gov.in.
Trading members are advised to take note of the same and ensure compliance.
