Reduction & Consolidation of share capital:
Upon coming into effect of the Scheme for Reduction of Share Capital as approved by the Hon’ble National Company Law Tribunal, Ahmedabad Bench:
The issued, subscribed and paid-up equity share capital of the company shall stand reduced from Rs. 3,47,89,000/- (divided into 34,78,900 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each) to Rs. 6,95,780/- (divided into 34,78,900 equity shares of Re. 0.20 each) by cancelling the balance share capital,
And,
Simultaneously consolidating each reduced 100 equity shares of Re. 0.20 each in to 2 new equity shares of Rs. 10/- each.
Accordingly, upon Reduction of share capital, the shareholders shall be issued ONE new equity share of the company for every FIFTY equity shares held by the company.
For example:
A shareholder holding 100 shares of Rs. 10 each before Reduction shall hold upon Reduction and Consolidation 02 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each.
