| Offer for Sale for Coal India Limited |
This is in continuation of the Exchange notice no. 20181030-20 dated October 30,2018 for Offer for Sale (OFS) by The President of India (acting through and represented by the Ministry of Coal, Government of India) (“Promoter”) to sell up to 18,62,22,275 (3%) equity shares of the Company of face value of INR 10/- each with an additional option to sell up to 37,24,44,550 (6%) equity shares of Coal India Limited.
The Promoter (“Seller”) has informed the Exchange of its intention to exercise the Oversubscription Option to the extent of 1,17,81,656 (0.19%) equity shares of the Company in addition to 18,62,22,275 (3%) equity shares forming part of the Base Offer Size. Accordingly the Offer Shares will be 19,80,03,931 (3.19%) equity shares of the Company. Consequently, 3,96,00,786 Offer Shares would be available as part of the Offer on November 01, 2018 by the Retail Investors.
A copy of the letter dated October 31, 2018 submitted by The President of India acting through and represented by the Ministry of Coal, Government of India, (the “Promoter”) is attached for information.
