All trading members of Commodity Derivatives segment are hereby informed that it is proposed to undertake certain enhancements in the Exchange’s trading system. To facilitate this, some changes in the ETI & IML APIs shall be required. For this purpose, new API versions shall be rolled out as optional version release – ETI API ver.1.6.3, IML API ver.7.13 & IML exe ver.11.20
Enhancements being introduced in the new API versions are –
1. New message ‘Quote Cancellation Notification’ added to inform cancellation of single quote.
2. New reason code has been added to identify order cancellation for member /client going in Risk Reduction Mode (RRM) in a contract.
3. Near month contract identifier has been added in risk alerts generated for member going in position limit RRM in a contract.
New ETI & IML API versions have been made available on the Exchange website - http://www.bseindia.com/nta.aspx under section BSE Commodity Derivatives Segment – Test Environment Setup. New IML exe version 11.20 shall be made available for testing in the simulation test environment by Friday 25th January 2019 on the Exchange website at the same location. All vendors and members having in-house developed trading application are requested to take note of the API changes & initiate necessary development in their trading application.
The above-mentioned enhancements shall be made live in Commodity Derivatives segment with effect from Monday, February 11, 2019 (mock trading on Saturday, February 9, 2019).
Kindly note that details of implementation of these enhancements in Equity, Equity Derivatives and Currency Derivatives segments shall be communicated via a separate circular.
