Sub: Order Under Sections 11(1), 11(4) and 11B of the Securities and Exchange Board of India
Act, 1992 in the matter of Aksh Optifibre Ltd.
SEBI vide its Order no. WTM/ AB /EFD-1/DRA-1/11/2019-20 dated June 28, 2019 has inter-alia issued the following directions:
Ø Restrained the Noticees viz. Aksh Optifibre Ltd. (PAN- AAACA0062F) and Kailash S Chaudhary (PAN - AAHPC7797B) from accessing the securities market and further prohibited from buying, selling or otherwise dealing in securities including units of mutual funds, directly or indirectly, or being associated with the securities market in any manner, for a period of five years from the date of this order.
Ø Prohibited the Noticees viz. P.F. Sundesha (PAN - AAAPF1710G), B. R. Rakhecha (PAN - AAEPR7923D), Narendra Kumbhat (PAN - AAJPK8470D) and Arun Sood (PAN - AAJPS3837J) from buying, selling or otherwise dealing in securities including units of mutual funds, directly or indirectly, or being associated with the securities market in any manner, whatsoever, for a period of six months from the date of this order.
It is clarified that during the period of restraint, the existing holding of the Noticees including units of mutual funds, shall remain frozen.
This order shall come into force with immediate effect.
A copy of the said Order is attached herewith and also available on the SEBI website www.sebi.gov.in.
Trading members are advised to take note of the same and ensure compliance.
