The Clearing members and Custodians are requested to refer to Indian Clearing Corporation Ltd. (ICCL) notice no. 20170316-44 dated March 16, 2017 and 20180319-2 dated March 19, 2018 whereby ICCL has been paying interest at the rate of 3.5% per annum on cash collateral maintained in the Equity Derivatives Segment and Currency Derivatives Segment.
The interest has been calculated on a weekly basis on the cash collateral maintained throughout the week in the Equity Derivatives Segment and the Currency Derivatives Segment.
The members are hereby informed that ICCL is extending this benefit to the Clearing members and Custodians in Equity Cash Segment also, for the cash collateral maintained with ICCL, w.e.f. June 1, 2019. The calculation methodology will remain same.
