SEBI vide its Circular No. SEBI/IMD/CIR No. 11/183204/2209 dated November 13, 2009 facilitated mutual funds transactions through the Stock Exchange Infrastructure.
With a view to strengthen the existing processes in respect of funds and MF units pay-in /pay-out MFIs/RFIs are requested to upload the details of the funds collected, units allotted, units redeemed, and redemption pay-out credit given as per the file formats enclosed as Annexure.
The members(MFIs/RFIs) shall be provided the following files in extranet on T day for orders placed on T day:
· Client payment account* confirmation
· Clients units delivery confirmation
· Redemption demat account confirmation
· Redemption proceeds confirmation (bank account of the investor)
(*Client payment account refers to “Investor Source bank account from where the funds for MF investments are collected”)
The members(MFIs/RFIs) shall update the relevant details in the respective file/s and upload the same onto Extranet folder on T+1 EOD basis for T day orders. Post processing / validation of the details, Exchange shall provide respective response file/s on T+2 day EOD for T day orders.
For example:
· Order date (T day) is 10/04/2019
· Extranet folder name: 10/04/2019
· File type: Pipe separated text files
· Client Payment account confirmation: CPC_10042019
· File/s can be uploaded in batches onto Extranet by Member: CPC_10042019_01/ CPC_10042019_02
· Response file by Exchange: RES_CPC_10042019_01 /RES_CPC_10042019_02
The above circular shall be effective from June 1, 2019.
