Sub: Interim Order Cum Show Cause Notice under Sections 11(1), 11(4) and 11B of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 in the matter of Babanraoji Shinde Sugar & Allied Industries Limited (BSSAIL).
SEBI vide its Order no. WTM/ AB /DDHS/15/2018-19 dated January 11, 2019 has inter-alia directed BSSAIL (PAN: AACCI5569F) and the directors namely, Mr. Ranjeetsingh Babanrao Shinde (PAN: AEHPS6575B), Santosh Vyankatesh Garad (PAN: AMLPG0929R) and Mrs. Pranita Ranjeet Singh Shinde (PAN: BAKPS4785F) are hereby restrained from accessing the securities market and further prohibited from buying, selling or otherwise dealing in securities (including units of mutual funds), directly or indirectly, or being associated with the securities market in any manner, whatsoever. During the period of restraint, the existing holding (including units of mutual funds) of the aforesaid Noticees shall remain frozen.
Further as stated in the aforesaid Order, in the event of the Noticees failing to file replies or requesting for an opportunity of personal hearing within the said 30 days, the preliminary findings contained at paras 2 to 13 of aforesaid Order, as against the Noticees and directions at para 16 (i) to (iv)above shall become final and absolute against the respective Noticees automatically, without any further orders.
This Order shall come into force with immediate effect and shall remain in force until further orders.
