Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has notified the SEBI (Prohibition of Insider Trading) (Amendment) Regulations, 2018 vide notification No. SEBI/LAD-NRO/GN/2018/59 dated December 31, 2018.
With the above notification, SEBI has amended Regulation 2,3,4,5,7,9 and Schedule B of the SEBI (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations 2015. The aforesaid amendment has also inserted new “Regulation 9A” and new “Schedule C” in the SEBI (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations 2015.
The amendments shall come into force on April 01, 2019.
