Sub: SAT Order in respect of Yogesh K. Kaji in the matter of Classic Diamonds (India) Limited.
Attention of the trading members is invited to the Exchange Notice No. 20180515-23 dated 15 May, 2018 where in SEBI vide its Order no. WTM/GM/EFD/17/2018-19 dated May 15, 2018 had inter-alia restrained Yogesh K Kaji from accessing the securities market and further prohibited from buying, selling or dealing in securities, either directly or indirectly or being associated with the securities market in any manner whatsoever, for a period of one year from the date of the said order.
The Hon’ble Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) now, vide its Order dated January 25, 2019, has stated that the restraint order prohibiting the appellant from buying, selling or dealing in securities either directly or indirectly or being associated with the securities market in any manner whatsoever, for a period of one year from the date of the impugned order i.e. May 15, 2018 is modified and reduced till January 31, 2019.
This Order shall come into force w.e.f. January 25, 2019.
A copy of the said SAT Order is attached herewith and also available on the SEBI website www.sebi.gov.in.
