SubjectTrading System APIs mandatory release in Commodity Derivatives segment

This is further to circular no 20180907-43 dated September 7, 2018 and circular no 20190123-17 dated January 23, 2019 regarding enhancements in trading system APIs for Commodity Derivatives segment. Trading Members and vendors of the Exchange may kindly note that these API enhancements shall be made applicable as a mandatory release in Commodity Derivatives segment.

 

1.       Mandatory release of ETI API version 1.6.3

·         Existing optional ETI API version 1.6.3 shall be made mandatory API version release.

·         Kindly refer change log section of ETI API documents ver. 1.6.3 for more details.

 

2.       Mandatory release of IML API ver. 7.13 & new version IML exe ver. 12.0

·         Existing optional API version 7.13 shall be made mandatory API version release.

·         New version of IML exe 12.0 shall be introduced which includes enhancements introduced in ver. 11.10 & ver. 11.20.

 

All vendors and members having in-house developed trading application are requested to take note of the API changes & initiate necessary development as applicable in their trading application.

 

The above-mentioned enhancements in trading system APIs (as well as IML exe application) shall be implemented as mandatory version release in the live environment for Commodity Derivatives segment with effect from Monday, March 11, 2019.

 

New versions of IML & ETI API documents are available on the Exchange website – http://www.bseindia.com/nta.aspx in the section ‘BSE Commodity Derivatives Segment – Test Environment Setup.

 

Trading members and vendors may kindly note that the simulation environment for the enhancements & new version of IML exe application shall be available for testing with effect from Monday, February 11, 2019. Further, these new API versions as well as IML exe application shall be made mandatory in the simulation environment with effect from Monday, February 18, 2019.
