This is with reference to Exchange notice no. 20240223-42 dated February 23, 2024 wherein it is stated that Exchange is in receipt of a communication from the Protean eGov Technologies Limited regarding changes in the PAN verification methodology. Please note that change methodology will affect both new registration and while modifying existing UCC.
To facilitate these changes, certain modifications have been made in the Unique Client Code (UCC) file structure and revised file format for uploading/modification of client codes have been provided. Further it was also mentioned in the notice that records uploaded/modified in old format shall not be accepted with effect from March 28, 2024, End of the day.
In this regard, please note that the UAT environment is being made available to the Trading Members for testing the revised file format. Further, an Application Programming Interface (API) based platform for UCC upload on the Exchange is also being provided. Members can access the test environment using the below mentioned URL.

The login credentials for accessing this TEST environment for existing users will remain same as they are using now.
Members using the TEST environment for first time will be receiving login credentials via email marked to their compliance officer.
Trading Members may please note that old format would be discontinued w.e.f. March 28, 2024, End of the day and if appropriate changes are not carried out within this timeline, on boarding process at the Trading Member end can get impacted and could have potential business impact.
All Trading Members are advised to take note of above and perform the UAT prior to uploading/modifying the UCC in the revised file format in live environment.
