Subject   Discontinuation of BOLT TWS Application – Update

This is in reference to our notice number 20191129-43 dated 29th November 2019 regarding discontinuation of BOLT TWS (old application).  Further, reference to our notice number 20200103-22 dated 3rd January 2020 regarding extension of the timeline for discontinuation of BOLT TWS (old application) till 8th February 2020, the discontinuation deadline was extended indefinitely due to the pandemic situation.

The revised date of discontinuation of BOLT TWS (old application) for all segments shall be effective from Saturday, 31st December 2022. Further to this, only BOLTpro TWS shall be available to trading members as the front-end trading application w.e.f. Monday, 2nd January 2023

 

Members are requested to take note of the above and expedite migration from BOLT TWS to BOLTPro TWS application version 3.0 & above (newer versions, as and when released) at the earliest.

 

The BOLT TWS version 81.20 and 81.30 will not be supported by exchange post 2nd January 2023. This would mean that

1.       Any new functionality introduced by exchange in BOLTPro will not be incorporated in BOLT TWS

2.       Any regulatory changes prescribed by SEBI will not be supported in BOLT TWS

 

Post 2nd January 2023 the BOLT TWS may remain however any risk/ issue emanating out of usage of BOLT TWS will be solely member’s responsibility. Thus, to have seamless and uninterrupted trading it is highly recommended that members migrate to BOLTPro at the earliest.

 

Download BOLTPro ver.8.00 & above

The product would be installed from a setup file. The set-up file is available on both Extranet-Dload and website. The download links are given below –

 

·       On Extranet-Dload: BOLTPro -> BOLTPro Setup

·       On Website: The new version can also be downloaded from the Exchange website www.bseindia.com/help.

 

Important Note related to Installation of BOLTPro TWS: For migration of Old profiles & setting of BOLT application, user must opt the option as “Yes” in the copy option during the Setup installation.
