As per recommendations of SEBI’s Market Data Advisory Committee (MDAC) regarding “Standardization of MII-Member/Bank Interface”, it is proposed to standardize the formats of Bid Upload / Response files across applicable Exchanges. The format of these files shall be common across all applicable Exchanges, as part of the continued efforts to enhance the interface between Exchanges and Trading Members/ Self Certified Syndicate Banks (SCSBs) .
The new standardized file formats shall be published in tranches. In this regard, as part of the first tranche, file formats for bulk/bid upload files for IPO are being made available. The standardized file formats for such files for IPO (Equity/REIT/INVIT), bulk upload file are provided in Annexure A.
The Live release date for new standardized files by Exchange shall be informed separately in due course. The existing bulk / bid upload file formats shall continue to be available in parallel along with the new standardized files. Thereafter, the existing bulk upload file formats shall be discontinued after giving adequate advance intimation.
Participants are also requested to note that the standardized files will be in csv format and ISO tags for these files shall be published separately via a separate circular.
