This is in continuation to Exchange notice no. 20191003-37 dated October 3, 2019 and SEBI Gazette Notification No.  SEBI/LAD-NRO/GN/2019/36 dated September 23, 2019 on Securities and Exchange Board of India (Foreign Portfolio Investors) Regulations, 2019.

To facilitate members to update huge records at one time, a provision for batch upload has been made in the UCC system of the Exchange for members to re-categorise their existing FPI clients into FPI-1 and FPI-2. Members may access the batch upload file at the following path: UCC > Update FPI Category Batch Upload

All members are once again requested to re-categorise their existing FPI clients into FPI-1 and FPI-2 in the UCC system of the Exchange in compliance with SEBI (Foreign Portfolio Investors) Regulations, 2019.
