Subject: Process of early pay-in of securities/funds in Equity Cash Segment under TM / CM set-up

Attention of the members is drawn to BSE circular No.20190116-32 dated January 16, 2019 and ICCL circular No.20190218-17 and No.20190218-35 dated February 18, 2019. In this connection, Clearing Members are requested to follow the below-mentioned process for early pay-in pertaining to the Trading Members (TMs) clearing through them:

Early pay-in of securities:

Early pay-in instructions are to be given by the Clearing Members from their Depository Pool/Early pay-in Account on behalf of their TMs. For this purpose, Trading Members would transfer securities from their Demat Pool Account to the Clearing Member’s Demat Pool/Early Pay-in Account as per the respective depository process.

For allocation of early pay-in against the respective Trading Members, the Clearing Members would need to provide Trading Member’s Clearing No. in the field “TM  Code No.” in the existing .EPN file (i.e securities early pay-in file). Self-Clearing Members (SCM) need to update their own Clearing No. in the “TM Code No.” field as per the existing process. Other details in the EPN file would remain the same. Such EPN files to be uploaded by the respective Clearing Members on the Extra-net as per the existing process.

Early pay-in of funds:

Early pay-in instructions are to be given by the Clearing Members from their settlement account with the designated Clearing Bank through the Collateral Module as per the existing process.

For allocation of early pay-in against the respective Trading Members, the Clearing Members would need to provide Trading Member’s Clearing No. in the field “TM Code No.” in the existing .EPF file (i.e funds early pay-in file).  Self-Clearing Members need to update their own Clearing No. in the “TM Code No.” field as per the existing process. Other details in the EPF file would remain the same. Such EPF files to be uploaded by the respective Clearing Members on the Extra-net as per the existing process.

There would be no change in the process of EPN file and EPF file for Custodian Members.
