This is with reference to the meeting of Exchanges and Depositories with FIU India held on August 8, 2014 and Prevention of Money laundering Act, 2002 and the Rules/Circulars/guidelines issued there under.
In this regards, all members are advised to get themselves registered with FIU India through the FINnet Gateway (FINgate) Portal. The Portal is designed as a comprehensive interface between the reporting entities and FIU-IND. After registration, the authorized users will be provided credentials for login.
Further, the reporting entity are advised to furnish Cash Transaction reports (CTRs) and Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) etc., observed under the Prevention of Money laundering Act, 2002 and the Rules there under, to FIU India through FINnet Gateway (FINgate).
Members are advised to take note of the above and ensure compliance with the same.
