This is to inform you that on May 7, 2018 the Company, Dr. Prannoy Roy and Mrs. Radhika Roy, Executive Co-Chairpersons of the Company received a Show Cause Notice dated May 3, 2018 (SCN) under section 279(1) of the Income Tax Act, 1961 from the Principal Commissioner of Income Tax for launching prosecution proceedings for the assessment year 2009-10.
The Company is currently examining the aforesaid SCN and the legal options available to the Company. The Company will take necessary action(s) accordingly.
