In furtherance to the objective of maximizing the geo-strategic reach of the PSUs,
SJVN Ltd has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NEEPCO (North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited) for joint development of power projects in India and abroad with an immediate focus on north-east and the eastern region of the country.
The Company evaluates business opportunities on an ongoing basis. The MoU is an initial understanding between the parties to explore the business opportunities as and when available in the Hydro Power Sector and does not result in any material impact on the Company. Hence the same was not disclosed to the Exchanges.
We have made and will continue to make disclosures in compliance with our obligations under SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 and our agreements with the stock exchanges.
