The Insurance Regulatory Authority of India (Authority) had conducted an onsite inspection of the Company during the period from October 23, 2017 to November 3, 2017. Subsequently, the Authority raised certain observations which were followed by the show-cause notice. The Company submitted a detailed response and had a personal hearing. After considering the submissions therein the Authority has issued an advisory and levied a penalty amounting to Rs. 4 Lakhs. The Company has taken necessary actions as advised by the Authority.
