Suspension of Companies w.e.f. July 14, 2003
The Exchange regularly monitors the companies listed on the Exchange for compliance of various requirements of the Listing Agreement. It has been observed that belowmentioned 42 companies have failed to comply with the requirements of Clause 16 of the Listing Agreement regarding, fixation / intimation of Book Closure to the Exchange. The Exchange had issued showcause notices to these companies. However, these companies have failed to reply/ satisfactorily reply to the showcause notice issued by the Exchange.
In the circumstances, the Exchange has decided to suspend trading in the equity shares of these 42 companies w.e.f. July 14, 2003. Out of 42 companies, 31 companies are suspended only for a token period of three trading days.
