Suspension of Companies w.e.f. April 30, 2003

The Exchange regularly monitors compliance of corporates' to various clauses of the Listing Agreement. It has been observed that there are 35 companies (list enclosed) which have failed to submit quarterly results for the quarters ending June and September 2002 as per the requirements of Clause 41 of the Listing Agreement. The said companies were issued showcause notices and reminders. However, the companies have failed to comply with Clause 41 of the Listing Agreement.

In the circumstances, the Exchange has decided to suspend trading in the securities of the said 35 companies w.e.f. April 30, 2003 until further notice.

Out of 35 companies, trading in the companies / scrips of 12 companies (marked " * ") is already suspended by the Exchange for various other non-compliances.
