Dear Sirs,

Sub: Direct Deposit / credit of the amount (i.e. dividend, interest, redemption amount, etc.) payable to notified          parties / entities in specific attached account of designated Bank and Branch

All the companies listed on this Exchange are hereby informed that the Office of the Custodian, The Special Court (Trial of Offences relating to transactions in Securities) Act, 1992 vide its letter No. 6459/CUS/BOM/REC.BEN/ALL N.P./767/ALL dated September 10, 2003 (copy enclosed) has directed the Exchange to communicate to all the Listed companies that they should forward the Offer letters of right shares and or forward the bonus shares pertaining to Notified parties to the Office of the Custodian only, whereas the amount payable to notified parties / entities by way of dividend, interest, redemption amount, etc. may please be directly remitted/ deposited in the specified bank account of the notified party furnishing full details of the amount credited whether it represents dividend, interest, redemption amount and other particulars (name of the notified party, folio nos, no. of shares, year for which the dividend amount is paid etc.). In this connection it is reiterated that no amount of dividend etc. should be remitted to notified parties / entities.

A copy of the statement forwarded to the depositing bank may please be furnished by the companies to the Office of the Custodian for reconciliation and record. The list of all notified parties / entities with the name of banks / branches together with their account numbers is enclosed alongwith the copy of the letter received from the Office of the Custodian.

You are hereby advised that the non compliance with the instructions will be viewed seriously by the Office of the Custodian.
