Sub: Electronic Data Information Filing And Retrieval (EDIFAR)

As per SEBI Circular Nos. SMD/POLICY/CIR-13/02 dated June 20, 2002, and SMD/POLICY/CIR-17/02 dated July 3, 2002, the Exchange had added Clause 51 - EDIFAR Filing in the Listing Agreement. This was intimated to you vide Exchange circular no. CRD/ GEN/ 2002/ 6 dated July 4, 2002.

SEBI has now vide its circular no. CFD/ DIL/ CIR-12/ 2003 dated December 22, 2003, made it mandatory for filing of specific document/ statements/ information to further 355 companies, selected on the basis of Market Capitalization and Turnover. Since your company is included in the said list of 355 companies, you are required to electronically file specific documents/ statements on the EDIFAR website viz. www.sebiedifar.nic.in. w.e.f the quarter ending September 2003.

All the other provisions regarding EDIFAR filing prescribed by SEBI vide circulars SMD/ Policy/ Cir - 13/ 2002 dated June 20, 2002 and SMD/ Policy/ Cir - 17/ 2002 dated July 3, 2002, as intimated to you vide Exchange circular no. CRD/ GEN/ 2002/ 6 dated July 4, 2002, would be applicable to you.

Filing of these statements/ information would be in addition to the filings to be made by the companies with the stock exchange in compliance with various provisions of Listing Agreement.

You are advised to download the Registration Form and the Operations Manual from the EDIFAR website www.sebiedifar.nic.in. You are required to fill all the details in the Registration Form and forward the same either to BSE alongwith the following documents:

1. Proof of PAN
2. Proof of Year of Inception
3. Latest Annual Report
4. Proof of appointment of CEO
5. Proof of appointment of Compliance Officer

The Exchange will forward the Registration Form to NIC, New Delhi for allotting login ID and password to enable the company to file statements on the EDIFAR website. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE LOGIN ID AND PASSWORD WILL BE COMMUNICATED TO THE COMPANY AT THE EMAIL ID MENTIONED IN THE EDIFAR REGISTRATION FORM.

You are advised to take note of the above and send in the Registration Form immediately
