  • BSE'S CERTIFICATION COURSE ON STOCK MARKET (BCCSM)
  • OBJECTIVES:
    Ensure that the participants in stock market have adequate knowledge of the Stock Exchange Operations, they are dealing in.

    TARGET AUDIENCE:

    Full Time - 4 days (from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm)

    Course Fee: Rs. 2,000/- per participant (inclusive of study material and lunch).
    Examination Fee: Rs 600/- per participant
    The course and examination are mutually exclusive. i.e. The participants may undertake course or an examination or both.

    EXAMINATION PLANS AND CERTIFICATION:

    1. The passing of this examination shall entitle the candidate to get BSE's Certification on Stock Markets (BCSM)
    2. The institute shall conduct test of 100 marks consisting of 100 questions. The questions would be of objective type having multiple choice. The examiner would deduct a quarter mark for each wrong answer from the aggrerate marks obtained.
    3. BCSM shall be awarded to only those participants who obtain 40% or more marks.
    4. The participants who secured less than 40% marks and willing to get Institute's Certificate for successful completion of the programme shall appear for the test conducted in the subsequent batches of the same programme by paying an examination fees of Rs. 600/- (Rs. Six Hundred only) per attempt. It shall be the responsibility of such participants to enquire with the Institute about the subsequent programmes and their test dates.
    5. The participants securing less than 40% marks may be given participation certificates.

    EXAMINATION PLANS AND CERTIFICATION:
    1. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) made it mandatory for all brokers/dealers and salespersons desirous of trading in the derivatives market to get themselves certified from an Institution approved by SEBI. BSE's Certification on Derivatives Exchange (BCDE) is a SEBI approved, on-line testing process for this purpose.
    2. The passing of this examination shall entitle the candidate to get BSE's Certification on Derivatives Exchange.
    3. The institute shall conduct test of 100 marks consisting of 100 questions. The questions would be of objective type having multiple choices with a system of negative mark for wrong answers.
    4. BCDE shall be awarded to only those participants who obtain 60% or more marks.
    5. There is no minimum eligibility criterion for taking the test.
    6. An examination fee of Rs. 600 (Rs. six hundred only) per attempt is payable.
    7. Any person interested in taking the test at Mumbai may please approach the Institute with his/her four passport size photographs and a DD of Rs. 600 in favour of "The Stock Exchange, Mumbai". A person interested in taking tests at the following centres may approach them with five passport size colour photographs and a DD of Rs.600 in favour of 'NIIT LTD' and payable at the respective places.

    BCCM EXAMINATION PLANS & CERTIFICATION:

    1. The passing of this examination shall entitle the candidate to get BSE's Certification on Capital Market (BCCM)

    2. Comprehensive Programme on Capital Markets (CPCM) shall be divided into two semesters. The Institute shall conduct two tests semisterwise of 100 marks each with 40% weightage to each test and 20% for attendance aggregating 100 marks. The examiner shall deduct 1/2 a mark for each wrong answer from the aggregate marks obtained in the respective test.

    3. BCCM shall be awarded to only those participants who obtain 40% or more marks (including the marks reserved for attendance). A gold medal shall be given to the participant/s who secure highest marks.

    4. The Institute may issue participation Certificates on request from the participants who obtain marks less than 40% and who remain present for minimum 75% of the total sessions conducted during the entire course.

    5. No certificates of whatsoever nature shall be given to any participant who secure marks less than 40% and remains present for less than 75% of the total sessions conducted during the entire course.

    6. The participants who secured less than 40% marks and willing to get Institute's Certificate for successful completion of the programme shall appear for both tests conducted in the subsequent batches of the same programme by paying an examination fees of Rs. 600/- (Rs. six hundred only) per attempt. The Institute shall include the respective participant's marks for attendance obtained during the batch of his admission for arriving at his total marks in the subsequent attempts. It shall be the responsibility of such participants to enquire with the Institute about the subsequent programmes and their test dates.

    The admission shall be confirmed on first come first served basis, depending upon the availability of seats.

    The BSE Training Institute remains open from 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. on all working days except Saturdays, on which it remains open upto 2.00 p.m.
