OBJECTIVES:

To ensure that the participants in stock market have adequate knowledge of the Stock Exchange Operations, they are dealing in.

TARGET AUDIENCE:

Stock brokers, sub-brokers, Mutual Funds, DPs, their Employees and Investors.

DURATION & TIME:

4 days (from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm)

PROGRAMME CONTENTS:

Secondary Markets, Trading Clearing and Settlement, Rolling Settlement, BOLT, Mutual Funds, Tax Provisions, Dematerialisation of Shares, Surveillance, Sensex and Other Indices, Futures and Options, Inspection of brokers' books, Ethics and code of conduct of brokers/sub-brokers, Primary Markets, Book Building & IPOs, Listing, Investors' Grievances Redressal System available with BSE, SEBI & CLB, Debt Market and Internet Trading.

ALL PARTICIPANTS ATTENDING THE ENTIRE COURSE ARE ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE PARTICIPATION CERTIFICATE FROM THE BSE TRAINING INSTITUTE.

FEES:

Course Fee: Rs. 5,600 + 12.36% (service tax + e.cess) per participant (inclusive of study material and lunch.)

EXAMINATION PLANS & CERTIFICATION:

The course and examination are mutually exclusive. i.e. The participants may undertake course or an examination or both.

• The passing of this examination shall entitle the candidate to receive BSE's Certification on Stock Markets (BCSM)
  
  
• The institute shall conduct test of 100 marks consisting of 60 questions. The questions would be of objective type having multiple choice. The examiner would deduct a quarter mark for each wrong answer from the aggregate marks obtained.
  
  
• BCSM shall be awarded to only those participants who obtain 50% or more marks.
  
  
• There is no minimum eligibility criterion for taking the test.
  
  
• An examination fee of Rs.843/- (Rupees Eight Hundred Forty Three only) per participant per attempt is payable.
  
  
• Any person interested in taking the test at Mumbai may please approach the Institute with his/her four passport size photographs and a DD of Rs. 843 in favor of "Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd, payable at Mumbai ". A person interested in taking tests at the following centers may approach them with four passport size colour photographs and a DD of Rs.843/- (Rupees Eight Hundred Forty Three only) in favor of Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd, payable at Mumbai.
