"Pratibha Industries Ltd today announced bagging orders worth Rs. 772 Crores in Building and Water Management divisions. With these, the balance Order Book of the Company stands at Rs. 6,568 Crores as on December 30, 2011, while total orders bagged in the current financial year to date is worth Rs. 3,350 Crores.

In a major breakthrough, the Building Division of the Company bagged a Contract of Rs. 153 Crores from Rustomjee Realty Pvt. Ltd. for the Civil and Structural work of Residential Buildings located at Upper Juhu, D N Nagar, Andheri (W), Mumbai. The project to be completed within 26 months, which envisages construction of total built up area of approximately 14 lakh square feet. This well landscaped ultra-modern residential complex, having various facilities and amenities, will be a new landmark in Andheri.

The other project bagged is from Tata Housing Development Company Ltd, valued at Rs. 136 Crores (excluding the cost of cement, steel and shuttering) for its prestigious project 'Tata Amantra'. This involves construction of 23 buildings at Kalyan, near Mumbai, with a total built up area of approximately 30 lakhs square feet. The project is scheduled for completion within 27 months.

Continuing its successful run in the water segment, the Company bagged two cash contracts. The first one is worth Rs 403 Crores from Gujarat Water Infrastructure Ltd. This contract envisages laying of 63 km of large-diameter cross-country pipelines to supply water from Dhanki to Chuli under the Swarnim Gujarat Kutch Water Grid programme with intake arrangement, pumping machinery & other electro-mechanical equipment, accessories, instrumentation control etc. It is scheduled to be completed in 12 months with an operation and maintenance period of 5 years.

Expanding its international operations, the Company bagged its second international order and first in Bangladesh from the Dhaka Water Supply and Sewerage Authority worth Rs 80 Crores. The company, in consortium with Jain Irrigation System Ltd & Navana Construction Ltd, bagged this contract involving rehabilitation of distribution networks to be completed in 350 days."
