| | | | Change in Directorate | 12/20/2011 2:19:40 PM | | | | Bank of Maharashtra has informed BSE that, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (f) sub-section (3) of Section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act,1970/1980 read with sub-clause (1) of clause (2) of clause 9 of the Nationalised Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970/1980/ the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services, after consultation with the Reserve Bank of India, vide their notification dated December 19, 2011, has nominated Dr. Sunil Uddhavrao Deshpande, (DOB November 05, 1960) Senior Manger (Scale III), as Officer Employee Director on the Board of Directors of Bank of Maharashtra.
He is appointed for a period of three years from the date of the notification or till he ceases to be an officer of the Bank of Maharashtra or until further orders, whichever is the earlier, subject to the final order in the pending SLP/writ petition/ Civil Suit filed by Bank of Maharashtra or others.
He had been on the Board of the Bank from March 17, 2008 as Officer Employee Director. | |
