| | | | Sanction of Scheme of Arrangement | 3/29/2012 4:15:19 PM | | | | Eon Electric Ltd has informed BSE that the Hon'ble Punjab & Haryana High Court at Chandigarh has on March 27, 2012, approved the Scheme of Arrangement ("Scheme") pursuant to Section 391-394 of the Companies Act, 1956 between Eon Electric Limited (Demerged Company) and Advance Metering Technology Limited (Resulting Company) and their respective Shareholders & Creditors with effect from the Appointed Date i.e. April 01, 2011.
The formal Order of Hon'ble High Court will follow in due course.
Accordingly, the Demerged Company "Eon Electric Limited" shall continue to carry on the existing businesses of Wires & Cables, Wiring accessories, energy efficient Light sources, Luminaires and also foray into new businesses like Lithium ion batteries, mobile phone accessories, fans, water heaters and home automation switches. | |
