After superannuation was Member, Expenditure Management Commission set up to review the allocative and operational efficiencies of Government expenditure to achieve maximum output. The Commission concluded its work end February 2016 after giving a series of reports inter alia on fiscal management, defence expenditure, streamlining administrative processes and public procurement and social sector spending.

Immediately prior to superannuation, was the Union Finance Secretary (as Secretary, Department of Revenue). Had also served as Secretary (Expenditure) and Secretary (Disinvestment) as well as Secretary in the Thirteenth Finance Commission, consecutively in the Ministry of Finance, GOI since August 2007 till superannuation. Was member of the core group for the Union Budget from 2010 to 2015. Served the Government of Madhya Pradesh (GoMP) as Principal Secretary (Finance) during which tenure various reforms including fiscal responsibility legislation, outcome budgeting, extensive use of the PPP mechanism, contributory pension scheme was introduced in MP. Mr. S.S. Mundra retired as Deputy Governor of Reserve Bank of India on 30th July 2017 after completing a stint of three years. Prior to that, the last position held by him was as Chairman and Managing Director of Bank of Baroda from where he superannuated in July 2014. In a banking career spanning over four decades, Mr. Mundra held several important positions including that of Executive Director of Union Bank of India, Chief Executive of Bank of Baroda (European Operations) amongst others. He also served as RBI’s nominee on the Financial Stability Board (G20 Forum) and its various committees. Mr. Mundra was also the Vice-chair of OECD’s International Network on Financial Education (INFE).

Prior to joining RBI, Mr. Mundra also served on Boards of several multi-dimensional companies like the Clearing Corporation of India Ltd (CCIL), Central Depository Services (India) Ltd. (CDSL), BOB Asset Management Company, India Infrastructure Finance Corporation (UK) Ltd. (IIFCL), IndiaFirst Life Insurance Company Ltd., Star Union Dai-Ichi Life Insurance Company Ltd., National Payments Corporation of India Ltd., etc. The experience gained in guiding these entities has bestowed him with wide leadership skills and keen insights in best practices in Corporate Governance.

After graduating from Worcester College, Oxford in 1974 in politics, economics and philosophy (PPE) David has worked for nearly 34 years in the European Commission from 1977- 2011. He held a variety of posts including at the beginning of his career responsibility for oil and gas data in the Statistical Office, Luxembourg (1977-1981) during the second oil crisis; energy policy coordination and modelling in the Directorate General for Energy, Brussels (1982-1987); and then industrial trade policy negotiations during the Uruguay multilateral trade round (1987-1989).

From 1989-1992 he was a member of President Delors' "Think Tank" called the "Cellule de Prospectives" where he worked on industrial policy and wrote the first Commission document on sustainable development. In this period he co-authored a book with Professor Alexis Jacquemin on the post-1992 EU political and economic agenda called "Shaping factors, shaping actors". From 1993-1994 he was a member of Sir Leon Brittans' Cabinet and worked on various aspects of trade and industrial policy, including completion of the Uruguay Round in 1994. In 1995 he became an Adviser to President Jacques Santer in his Cabinet – covering competitiveness, industrial and telecom policies, political relations with the UK and Ireland, financial services, risk capital and various other trade and foreign policy briefs.

From March 2000 – October 2010 he was first Director, then Deputy Director-General for securities and financial markets, then for all financial services policy in DG Internal Market and Services. He helped design and drive forward the Financial Services Action Plans to integrate the EU's capital and financial services markets. He was the rapporteur for both the Lamfalussy (2000/1) and De LaRosière Committees (2008/9), chaired the Securities and Banking Committees and represented the Commission in the Financial Services Committee and in various FSB/G20 fora. He also played a leading role in the EU-US financial markets dialogue in this period.

Sushri Jayshree Vyas, a professionally qualified Chartered Accountant has been working as the Managing Director of Shree Mahila Sewa Sahakari Bank, Ahmedabad since 1986 which has more than 5,00,000 women clients. During her tenure she has taken active steps to introduce and operate an Integrated Micro Insurance Scheme for women working in the informal sector. This scheme was introduced for the first time in the country and in a short period of three years covered more than 150,000 women. She has also devised and implemented various housing finance schemes, which have been accessed by over 20,000 poor women. He enrolled as an advocate on the rolls of Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa on 17th October, 1980. He was appointed as the Acting Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court from 15th December, 2014 and continued working in that position till he was sworn in as the Chief Justice of Punjab Haryana High Court on 7th August 2016. He retired as the Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court on 3rd May, 2018.

Currently Director of IIT Bombay and K.N. Bajaj Chair Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering. Did his B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering from IIT Kharagpur in 1985 and M.Sc. (Electrical Engineering) from University of Calgary in 1987 and Ph.D. (Electrical Engineering) in 1990 from University of California. He has held a number of important positions at IIT Bombay, including Head, Dept. of Electrical Engineering, Dean (International Relations) and Deputy Director (Academic & Infrastructure Affairs). He has received several major awards recognizing his research excellence, which include the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize (CSIR), Swarnajayanti Fellowship (DST), J.C. Bose Fellowship (DST) and the NASI-Reliance Award among several others. Prof. Chaudhuri was conferred with the prestigious title “TUM Ambassador” by Technical University Munich (TUM), Germany. He is a Fellow of Indian National Science Academy (INSA), Indian Academy of Sciences (IASc.), Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) and National Academy of Science India (NASI). He has been recognized as a Distinguished Alumnus of IIT Kharagpur. He has 110 journal publications and over 240 conference presentations with over 10000 citations, he has authored 7 monographs and 13 National/International Patents. He has guided 31 Ph.D. students and 116 M.Tech. students

Shri Nandkumar Saravade holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad and a master’s degree from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.

He commenced his career in 1987 as an officer in the Indian Police Service (IPS). As an IPS officer, he worked in Jammu and Kashmir and West Bengal, before joining the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). In his seven year stint in CBI, he looked after enforcement of the Prevention of Corruption Act, and investigation of bank frauds and economic offences.

He was also on secondment to National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM), as Director, Cyber Security and Compliance for three years.

In 2008, he took voluntary retirement from the IPS and joined the private sector. In this phase of his career, he worked as General Manager in ICICI Bank, Director in Citibank and Advisor to Ernst & Young. He took over as CEO, Data Security Council of India in July 2015.

He joined the Reserve Bank of India in June 2016 to set up its IT subsidiary, viz Reserve Bank Information Technology Pvt Ltd (ReBIT). He was ReBIT’s CEO for five years, till May 2021.

Currently, he works as a Strategy Advisor to various organizations, with a focus on security, ethics, innovation, and compliance. He is a regular speaker at apex training institutes, technical conferences and industry forums.

Dr. Padmini Srinivasan is a faculty in the Finance and Accounting Area at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB). She is also the Chairperson Centre for Corporate Governance and Citizenship. Previously, she was the chairperson of the PGP (MBA) Programme.

Education:
She has a PhD from the National Law School of India Bangalore, is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce.

Work Experience:
As a faculty at IIMB, her teaching and research interests are in the areas of Financial Accounting and Reporting, Corporate Governance, Environment Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility and Risk Management. Her teaching career includes teaching in institutions such as the Indian Institute of Information Technology Bangalore and the University of Exeter, UK. She has presented papers at conferences and published research papers in academic journals.

Before joining IIMB, Dr. Srinivasan worked in the industry for more than fifteen years in various positions in Finance, Treasury, Planning, MIS, and Accounting. Her industry stint also includes consulting for a multinational firm in Indonesia. She has been a consultant and a corporate trainer to many organizations in the areas of finance and governance both in India and as well as abroad. As part of the executive education, she has designed and conducted programmes for several organizations in various industries such as power, infrastructure, banks, and others both in India and abroad. She has offered board level corporate governance programs for independent directors as well as executive directors.

Dr. Srinivasan, in the past, has been a special invitee and a member of the Accounting Standards Board of India and the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board of India. Currently, she is a Member of the Finance and Audit committee of IIM Bangalore and the Finance Committee of IIM Vishakhapatnam. She is also a member of the Academic oversight body of the International Integrated Reporting Council.
