SubjectTrading system APIs for Commodity Derivatives segment – Update

 This is further to Exchange circulars - 20180115-18 dated January 15, 2018 regarding Availability of trading system APIs for Commodity Derivatives segment.

 

Subsequent to the above-mentioned circular, certain enhancements have been introduced in ETI & IML APIs for Equity, Equity Derivatives & Currency Derivatives segments to introduce “Activity time” & ”Algo ID” in order and trade related messages, vide circulars 20180420-19 dated April 20, 2018 and 20180720-37 dated July 20, 2018.

 

Further, on account of introduction of Commodity Derivatives segment, new segment identifier has been added to some of the messages, where required.

 

Accordingly, new version of APIs have been made available for Commodity Derivatives segment in the simulation test environment –

ETI API ver. 1.6.2 (including ETI template)

IML API ver. 7.12 & IML exe ver.11.10

 

Kindly note that there is no change in structure of any of the API messages in the new versions. Also, there is no change in market data APIs - MDI/EMDI API & EOBI formats; existing versions – MDI/EMDI API ver. 1.4.1 (including FAST template) and EOBI API ver. 1.1 shall be applicable for Commodity Derivatives segment.

 

New API versions as stated above, have been made available on the Exchange website – http://www.bseindia.com/nta.aspx --> BSE Commodity Derivatives Segment – Test Environment Setup. New IML exe version 11.10 shall be made available for testing in the simulation test environment by Tuesday, September 11, 2018 on the Exchange website at the same location.

 

The go-live date for the above-mentioned APIs for Commodity Derivatives segment shall be communicated via separate circular, based on regulatory approval.

 

All trading members / empanelled third party trading application vendors are requested to use the above ETI/ IML versions for necessary development and testing at their end for enabling BSE Commodity Derivatives segment in their respective trading applications.
