This is in continuation to our Notice no. 20171006-31 dated October 6, 2017 regarding “New Features added on BSE StAR MF Platform - Mandate update” and Notice no. 20181210-26 dated December 10, 2018 regarding “Introduction of Scan-Mandate on BSE StAR MF platform- Update”.
Attention of MFIs/MFDs/RIAs is drawn to the circular No. 034(Circular Attached) issued by NPCI in respect of “Embossing signature on mandate image”, wherein the following points are highlighted as non-compliance with the procedural guidelines:
Embossing the signature of the customer (cropped from some other document) on the image of the physical mandate.
Getting the customer sign on the electronic gadget (on the surface of the tablet, IPAD) that is used for inputting the mandate details.
MFIs/MFDs/RIAs are advised to take note of the same.
