This is with reference to SEBI circular no. SEBI/HO/MIRSD/DOS2/CIR/P/2019/10 dated January 4, 2019 and Exchange notice no. 20190107-8 dated January 7, 2019 regarding “Reporting for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) applications and systems offered and used by market intermediaries” wherein stock brokers are required to fill the Annexure ‘A’ (of the SEBI circular). Copy of SEBI circular is attached herewith as Annexure.
In this regard, stock brokers are required to submit the details on the captioned matter through BEFS in module “Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Language”. Link of BEFS is as given below:

Stock brokers, who are offering or using applications or systems as defined in Annexure ‘B’ to aforesaid SEBI Circular are required to submit the details in AI/ML Reporting Form. Further, stock brokers who are not offering or using the applications or systems as defined in Annexure ‘B’ are also required submit the AI/ML Reporting Form by selecting the option as “No” in BEFS.
Stock brokers may please note that, in case the details on the captioned matter for current quarter (January 1, 2020 - March 31,2020) is same as previous quarter (October 1, 2019 – December 31, 2019), an option has been provided in BEFS as “Replicate data” to submit the details.
Submission process will complete only on receiving “Acknowledgement mail”.
Annexure ‘B’ and user manual is attached on the top right after clicking on module in BEFS.
Stock brokers are requested to submit the above mentioned details for the quarter ended March, 2020 from April 1, 2020 to April 30, 2020.
