Sub: SAT Order in respect of Pritha Bag in the matter of MaxBe Green Provision Ltd. (MGPL)
Attention of the trading members is invited to the Exchange Notice No. 20150313-31 dated 13 Mar 2015 to be read with Exchange Notice No. 20160118-15 dated 18 Jan 2016 where in SEBI vide its Order no. WTM/PS/137/ERO-GLO/JAN/2016 dated January 15, 2016 had inter-alia restrained Pritha Bag and various other entities from accessing the securities market and further prohibited from buying, selling or dealing in securities, either directly or indirectly or being associated with the securities market in any manner whatsoever, for a period of four years from the date of completion of the repayments, as directed in the said Order.
The Hon’ble Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) now, vide its Order dated February 14, 2019, has quashed the directions as mentioned in the impugned order against the appellant, Pritha Bag.
This Order shall come into force w.e.f. February 14, 2019.
A copy of the said SAT Order is attached herewith and also available on the SEBI website www.sebi.gov.in.
Trading members are advised to take note of the same and ensure compliance.
