Trading members of the Exchange are hereby informed that, pursuant to the Scheme of Amalgamation as notified by Government of India under Section9 of Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertaking) Act,1970/1980 after consultation with Reserve Bank of India, inter alia, between Vijaya Bank and Bank Of Baroda (BOB), Bank Of Baroda has fixed the Record Date to determine the entitlement of shareholders of Vijaya Bank to equity shares of Bank Of Baroda.
Trading Members are advised not to deal in the equity shares of Vijaya Bank with effect from the under mentioned date:

Scheme of Amalgamation: -
On the commencement of the Scheme, Bank Of Baroda shall issue and allot Equity Shares to the shareholders of Vijaya Bank in the following share exchange ratio:
“402 (Four Hundred & Two) equity shares of Rs.2/- each of BOB for every 1000 (One Thousand) equity shares of Rs.10/- each of Vijaya Bank.”
