This is further to the circular 20180917-31 dated September 17, 2018 for data required for computation of Securities Transaction Price Index (STPI) from specific trading members.
Subsequent to the issue of above-mentioned circular, it has been decided to modify the data format for submission of the data for the period April-June 2013 quarter to October-December 2018 quarter, considering difficulties faced by specific members in providing historical data in the prescribed format.
Please note that this circular is applicable only to those trading members who have not submitted data in the format given vide reference to circular 20180917-31 dated September 17, 2018. Trading members who have already submitted historical data as per the earlier format need not submit the same.
BSE will communicate separately, through email, with those specific trading members who will be required to provide the data in format specified in Annexure 1 and Annexure 2.
Please note below points while providing the data:
1. The revised format for data submission for the period April-June 2013 quarter to October-December 2018 quarter is given in Annexure–I.
2. The quarterly data from January-March quarter of 2019 onwards must be given in the format provided in Annexure–II.
3. Members who were informed by the Exchange to provide the historical data in this revised format must do so latest by October 30, 2018.
4. Data for October-December 2018 quarter onwards may be provided on a regular basis by 16th of month immediately following the quarter end. For example, for October-December 2018 quarter, data must be provided by Jan 16, 2019.
5. Data should be sent through email at bse.stpi@bseindia.com with subject line ‘Data meant for STPI’.
