Attention of the market participants is drawn to the Exchange notice no.20161024-26 dated October 24, 2016, inter-alia, advising trading members to exercise caution with respect to tips / rumours circulated via various mediums and were also advised to caution their respective clients against such tips / rumours.
In this regard, please find attached herewith a press release no.58/2017 issued by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) , inter-alia, issuing directions to the service providers regarding unsolicited bulk SMSs relating to investment in securities market.
Market participants are requested to take note of the same and once again advised to exercise greater caution with respect to tips / rumours circulated via various mediums while dealing in the securities listed on the Exchange.
