Trading members of the Exchange are hereby informed that, pursuant to the Scheme of Amalgamation of Sterlite Industries (India) Ltd with Sesa Goa Ltd., as approved by the Hon’ble High Courts. Sesa Goa Ltd. has fixed a Record Date to determine the entitlement of shareholders of Sterlite Industries (India) Ltd to the equity shares of Sesa Goa Ltd.

The Scheme of Amalgamation: -
Amalgamation of Sterlite Industries (India) Ltd. with Sesa Goa Ltd.
Upon the Scheme coming into effect and upon vesting of Undertaking of Sterlite Industries (India) Ltd. into Sesa Goa Ltd., Sesa Goa Ltd shall issue and allot shares to all the shareholders of Sterlite Industries (India) Ltd in the following share exchange ratio:
Every equity shareholder of Sterlite Industries (India) Ltd. holding 5 (FIVE) equity shares in Sterlite Industries (India) Ltd. of Re. 1/- fully paid up shall be entitled to be issued 3 (THREE) equity shares of Re. 1/- each at par, credited as fully paid up, of Sesa Goa Ltd.
