All Trading Members of the Exchange,Trading Members of the Exchange are hereby informed that Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) vide circular no MRD/DoP/SE/Cir-05/2007 dated April 27, 2007 has decided that Permanent Account Number (PAN) would be the sole identification number for all participants transacting in the securities market, irrespective of the amount of transaction.
A copy of the above mentioned SEBI circular dated April 27, 2007 is enclosed herewith for ready reference of the Trading Members.
Trading Members are advised to take note of aforesaid circular and ensure compliance to the requirements stipulated in the circular.
