Pfizer Ltd has clarified to BSE as under:
"The news article appeared in Financial Chronicle on July 31, 2014 captioned "Pfizer to buy 2 Baxter Vaccines" appears to be attributable to the press release issued by Pfizer Inc., USA about a definitive agreement to acquire Baxter International Inc.'s portfolio of marketed vaccines and not by, or on behalf of our Company, Pfizer Ltd.
If and when we make any announcement regarding any material activity for our business, we will ensure that we continue to follow the mandated procedures of informing stock exchanges in a timely manner, so as to ensure uniform and simultaneous disclosure to all the investors." |
