Bharti Airtel Ltd has informed BSE about the following :

"We refer to our announcement dt. September 01, 2016 with regard to the above referred approval of the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh ("High Court") on the Scheme of Amalgamation for the amalgamation of Airtel Bangladesh with Robi.

In its order dated September 21, 2016, the High Court had inter alia directed both the Companies i.e Airtel Bangladesh and Robi to register the Scheme with Registry of Joint Stock Companies ("RJSC") within four weeks from the date of order i.e September 21, 2016.

Subsequently, Robi has today received the extension from the High Court for registration of the Scheme with RJSC of four weeks from 09 November 2016."
