Sub: Ensuring Minimum public shareholding in Public Companies.
Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has issued circular No. CIR/CFD/DIL/10/2010 dated December 16, 2010 regarding the captioned subject matter .
Companies are hence once again requested to initiate steps for ensuring compliance with the minimum public shareholding requirements so that the same is completed within the timeline as stipulated in the rule , i.e. by June 3,2013 for non PSU companies and by August 8,2013 for PSU.
Companies are required to take note of the said circular and comply accordingly.
