BSE - The Stock Exchange Mumbai, has decided to suspend trading in the equity shares of the 158 companies w.e.f Tuesday, December 21, 2004.
The Exchange regularly monitors the companies listed on the Exchange for compliance of various requirements of the Listing Agreement.
It has been observed that below mentioned 158 companies (Annexure - I) have failed to comply with the requirements of Clause 35 and / or Clause 51 of the Listing Agreement regarding submission of shareholding pattern and registration for EDIFAR respectively.
The Exchange had also issued show-cause notices and reminders to these companies. However, these companies have failed to comply with the respective clauses of the Listing Agreement. In light of these circumstances, the Exchange has decided to suspend trading of the companies.
