NEW YORK INSTITUTE OF FINANCE AND BSE TIE-UP TO OFFER UNIQUE TRAINING PROGRAMMES

 

New York Institute of Finance, an 82 years old educational Institute and leader in conducting training programmes worldwide in topics related to finance and capital markets and BSE Training Institute (BTI) of The Stock Exchange, Mumbai, Asia's oldest and largest bourse, have come together in India to offer unique training programmes for professionals in Capital Markets and corporate world.

The New York Institute of Finance is headquartered at the World Trade Centre in New York with offices in Singapore and London and is part of FT Knowledge, a division of the Pearson PLC group of companies.

BTI has been conducting various programmes for investors, such as Basic programmes on Derivatives, Badla - The unique Carry Forward system of the BSE, a Comprehensive programmes on Capital Markets, Investor Awareness programmes and so on.

Under this tie-up, the following three 2-days' programmes have been scheduled to be conducted at BTI's training Centre on 21st floor of the exchange during the month of November 2000.

1.Corporate Governance24th & 25th November, 2000
2.Exchange Traded Derivatives27th & 28th November, 2000
3.Risk Management29th &30th November, 2000

Course Director for Corporate Governance is Mr. Warren Tapp, former Director and adviser to Australian Private and Government Boards and for remaining two programmes is Mr. Nicholas Steven Weston, Director, International Treasury Services Ltd.

BTI is thus offering International training programmes at Indian prices (Rs.10,000/- only for a 2 day programme).

Advertisements have been released in the Economic Times to invite registrations for these programmes. The programmes will be beneficial to investors, corporates, mutual funds and various intermediaries in the capital markets.
