BSE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETES PAY-IN DESPITE
MEDIA APPREHENSIONS

Despite apprehensions expressed in the media about payment problem, BSE has successfully completed the pay-in of Settlement No. 49/2000-2001 in respect of A, B1, B2, C and Z Group Securities for the period ended March 2, 2001 on March 8, 2001 as per normal schedule.

Consequently, the Stock Exchange authorities have declared Pay-out of the settlement on Friday, March 9, 2001 as per schedule.
