BSE SENSEX RECORDS ALL TIME HIGH

BSE Sensex touched all time high in the 125 years history of BSE on the first trading day in the new Millennium - BSE Sensex closed at 5375.11 jump of 369.29 points (7.38%) over previous close of December 30, 1999 at 5005.82. The previous high of sensex was on October 14, 1999 at 5075.39.

This is the highest rise in the BSE sensex on any single day since 1992.
